Arby's owner buying Wendy's

Expect to see more consolidation of solid brands like this during rough economic times.

The brand is paramount, and Arby's has proven itself as a valuable brand. Especially with their most recent ad push. It's unique, and it's deseriable for a burger joint like Wendy's who is often considered a "me-too" to McDonalds, Burger King, etc.
